Marketing Manager

Summary:

The ideal candidate will exhibit a strong mix of detail-oriented qualities with a complete understanding of videogames.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for driving the development, management and execution of the marketing plan. Working closely with the PR Manager to ensure that all marketing and PR initiatives are cohesive and complimentary to the marketing plan.
  • Coordinating communication systems between the local team, outside agencies, and corporate marketing teams.
  • Accurately representing the studio's opinion to the outside agency and strategizing with the agency marketing team.
  • Managing the creation of AAA marketing materials such as trailers and screenshots.
  • Maximizing retail marketing effectiveness in coordination with Take-Two channel marketing.
  • Establishing (from scratch) measurement criteria, as well as, systems for tracking marketing program returns.
  • Coordinating game manual content and production working with the Product Development team and outside vendors.
  • Writing weekly marketing reports and maintaining the marketing archives.

Experience Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess the following skill set and attributes:

  • B.A. or B.S. Degree.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in videogame product marketing.
  • Experience marketing at least 1 AAA console title in the current generation.
  • A proven record of successful product launches.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to data driven marketing.
  • Ability to work effectively with product developers, promotions, and PR counterparts.
  • A passion for and understanding of youth culture and video games.
  • Proven capability to effectively multi-task, managing activities in a dynamic environment and extremely competitive consumer market.
  • Being able to respond positively to all forms of feedback.
